What do you mean by "trauma"? What kinds of issues have you worked with?

"Trauma" can be thought of as any negative situation or event that has gotten "stuck" and won't leave you alone.
Depending on the person, it can by anything from a reaction to your goldfish's death all the way up to capital
"T" traumas such as war or tsunamis.

Types of issues I've worked with have varied, with most involving childhood sexual abuse, physical
abuse, and/or neglect. Other situations have included being teased in childhood, work-related stress, fire, rape, divorce, performance issues, accidental death, parental alcoholism, loss of body function, domestic violence, medical intervention and/or serious illness during early childhood, murder, pseudoseizures, war, motor vehicle accident, family dysfunction, assault, relationship discord, miscarriage, body recovery, asphyxiation, and spiritual abuse.

For some folks, it isn't so much a particular "trauma" or event that bugs them, it's something sensory or something
they can't control. For example, feeling dirty despite showering, trouble going to the dentist, freezing up
in public places, or having weird dreams.

It's important that you not compare the severity of your particular situation to that of others. No matter how large or
small the situation, if something has blasted through your defenses, chances are your limbic system responded pretty much the same way as other people's limbic systems have.
