What can I expect at my first visit?

 

The first visit is an information-gathering and strategizing session. It is a time for us to talk about your experiences, learn about options available to you, and set a direction for new growth. Confidentiality is of utmost importance and information you give will be shared with others only with your written permission, unless compelling professional reasons exist such as legal statutes or ethics. I may be able to give you an estimate of how long treatment will take, though this is often difficult to determine.

Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork. If you plan to ask your managed care company, Medicare, or Medicaid to help pay for your care, please be sure to check your coverage before coming and bring your cards with you. If possible, arrange child care for young children so we can discuss matters openly. Parking is available at meters on the street or in free lots south of Main Street. Please note that parking laws are strictly enforced by the city.
